  • How can I place an order with Brewers Select?

    You can place an order through our website, by email or by telephone.

    To place an order request through our website, please create an account online and select the products you wish to purchase. 

    Our team will then process this for you and be in touch to discuss delivery options and payment.

  • I have created an account online but it says it needs authorising?

    Our team need to authorise new online accounts to provide access for requesting orders and viewing malt specifications and analysis.


  • I have placed an order online, what happens next?

    Your online order request will be received by our team and processed on our system. We will then contact you to discuss delivery and payment options.

  • What are your delivery options?

    We offer multiple different delivery options as it is important to us to be able to offer the cheapest and most convenient options for our customers.

    For pallet deliveries, we offer an Express, Standard and Economy service.

    Express - Orders placed and paid for between 8am-12noon can be delivered the next working day for only £5 extra!
    Standard - Orders placed and paid for will be despatched the next working day for delivery the following day. (Two day delivery service).
    Economy - Orders placed and paid for will be despatched the next working day for delivery within two days. (Three day delivery service).

    For smaller orders, we will consider using a smaller courier service, where price is dependent on weight. Express and Standard delivery options apply.

    There is also an option to collect from our warehouse. Orders placed and confirmed between 8am-12noon can be collected from our warehouse in Peterborough from 2pm. Collections must be booked in either by the Request a collection page of our website or by calling 01733 889114.

    Please ensure your order has been confirmed by our team before organising or requesting a collection.

  • Can I track my delivery?

    For pallet deliveries, you can receive text message updates. 

    It is also possible to receive an ETA by calling our logistics team on 01733 889102. Please ensure your order has been confirmed and is due for delivery on the day you request the ETA.

  • How many bags of malt can I fit onto a pallet?

    You can fit up to 40 bags on a pallet. 

    If you are ordering multiple different products (i.e malt, hops, finings) our team will advise you of how many bags of malt you can include to fit all of your desired items onto one pallet. This will be confirmed when discussing delivery options and payment.

  • Can I set up a malt or hop contract with you?

    You can set up annual malt or hop contracts with us. For more information, please call our customer service team on 01733 889100 or contact your regional key account manager.

  • What hops do you have available?

    You can request a copy of our hop availability list from our customer services team. Please call 01733 889100 or email to request this.

  • How many hops are left on my contract?

    Monthly hop statements are sent to help you manage your drawdown and see the current position of your hop contract.

  • How do I find out the alpha acids of hops I recently bought?

    Some boxes of hops will have alpha acids displayed on the stickers. If not, you can find these details by clicking here and searching for the lot number on the box or your invoice.

  • Where can I find malt specs/analysis?

    You can find the malt specification or certificate of analysis here. All you need to know is the lot number you have received. This will be printed on the bag or displayed on your invoice.

  • Is there a minimum order amount?

    We have no minimum orders on our products. You can order a single bag of malt or pack of hops and our team will inform your of the cheapest delivery option dependent on the size of your order.

  • Why do I need to set up a trading account to place an order?

    As a business, we need to know who we are trading with. 

    Whether you are a homebrewer, microbrewery or craft brewery, we must have a customer/trading account for you to place order requests. This is a simple process which requires completing a quick form and returning with a copy of some photo ID. This ID is used only for verification purposes and is destroyed once this has been completed. 

    Once your account has been set up, our team will confirm your Debtor ID/Account Number which can be used for reference when requesting orders.

  • Can I have a credit account with you?

    You can apply for credit terms with us. 

    As a general rule, this will be considered after having a small trading history with yourselves. This involves completing a form with your ideal credit limit and financial information, for our finance team to review and confirm back if this is possible.

  • What are your opening hours?

    Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm, excluding bank holidays.
