The first containers of hops from the 2017 crop are now in stock and available to order.

The unique partnership that Brewers Select enjoys with 100% grower-owned Yakima Chief Hopunion means that we are uniquely positioned to benefit from the strong relationships between the family farms who supply their premium hops.

Siobhan Lakey, at Brewers Select said: “Whether you’re looking for the lovely aromatic properties of Columbus hops or the fresh burst of tropical fruits from Citra hops, all are transported at 4°C to maintain their optimum freshness. They are then stored in a specially chilled room at the warehouse to ensure that they remain in top condition for brewing.”

Hops in so far include the following:

  • Amarillo Leaf
  • Bravo Leaf
  • Cascade Leaf
  • Cascade T90
  • Centennial Leaf
  • Centennial T90
  • Chinook Leaf
  • Chinook T90
  • Citra Leaf
  • Citra T90
  • Columbus Leaf

  • Ekuanot T90
  • Mosaic Leaf

  • Simcoe Leaf

Whilst the current crop year stock is becoming available brewers can also take advantage of price reductions for previous crop year stocks and many of the hops are available in full leaf and T90 pellet format. Download a full hop availability list here.

Many brewers agree annual hop contracts with Brewers Select, drawing down from their contract as and when they require the hops during the year, pre-paying before each delivery.

In return Brewers Select checks back with customers at the half-year stage to re-assess and perhaps adjust their requirements up or down and will discuss contracts with customers for up to five years in advance.

Brewers do not have to be a malt customer to purchase hops with Brewers Select and each key account manager has full details on future availability.
