Aramis is a French cross between a female Strisselspalt and a WGV. Aromatically reminiscent of Strisselspalt, but with higher alpha levels, it has a sweetish, herby spice character. This dual-purpose variety is grown in the Alsace and is tolerant of both hot summers and cold winters. 

Alpha: 7.9 - 8.3%
Beta: 3.8 - 4.5%
Co-H: 20 - 21% of alpha acids
Total Oil: 1.2 - 1.6 mL/100g
Aroma: Specific aroma descriptors include spicy, herbal and subtle citrus.
